Mahama set to launch Presidential Campaign In Volta Region
John Dramani Mahana will on Thursday, March 2, launch his campaign for the 2023 flag bearer race.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, Former President John Dramani Mahama will launch his presidential bid to contest in the upcoming 2024 elections. The launch is slated for Thursday, March 2, 2023, in the Volta Region. The launch will take place at Sokode near Ho in the Volta Region at the The University of Health and Allied Sciences (UHAS). In an event that he secures the bid to lead the National Democratic Congress(NDC) making the fourth time Mr. Mahama will lead the NDC to a general election. Mr. Mahama led the NDC in 2012 and won to become president. He also led in 2016 and 2020 but lost on both occasions to the incumbent President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, who he had earlier defeated in 2012. .
