Lydia Forson Sets new Ghanaian international record
Actress becomes the first Ghanaian to be nominated for the E! People’s Choice Awards, Ghanaians can help her win by voting for her

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson has been nominated for this year's E! People’s Choice Awards.
In doing so, she becomes the first Ghanaian to be nominated for the prestigious international award. She was nominated in the Africa Social Star Category alongside Sho Madjozi, Zozi Tunzi, Wian, Dimma Umeh, Thuso Mbedu, Karl Kugelmann, and Elsa Majimbo.
The actress took to her Instagram page to announce the news herself to her fans.
“BREAKING NEWS ‼️‼️ Mama, I made it on E! Today I become the first Ghanaian to be nominated for E! People’s Choice Awards in the Africa Social Star Category – yes- E! It’s been so hard keeping this to myself for weeks but I’m soooo excited to finally share it!”
