National Democratic Congress (MP) for Lower West Akim Constituency of the Eastern Region, Honourable Owen Kwame Frimpong popularly known as Darling Boy was appointed a member of Parliamentary House Committee on Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.

This appointment of the famous Ghanaian business mogul who won the Lower West Akim Constituency parliamentary seat in 2024 general election for the NDC in the first time in polical history since 1992 of the constituency has greeted with a wild jubilation of the people within the constituency.

Speaking in an interview with some people in the constituency, they expressed joy and happiness for appointing of Honourable Frimpong to serve on the committee and wish him a success.

They indicated that Honourable Frimpong is a listener to his people when he was going for his primaries and 2024 elections but today see what God has arise him to be part of Parliamentary House Committee on Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.

The constituents have publicly congratulated the leadership of the House of Parliament led by Rt. Honourable Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin for appointing of their MP as a member of the Parliamentary House Committee on Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration.
