In the middle of the controversy over Sarkodie's contribution to Bob Marley's "Stir It Up" remix, the renowned Ghanaian rapper has come up to assert himself as the best rapper among his peers.

Sarkodie discussed how being given this opportunity has elevated his musical career in a recent interview with CNN Africa.

In essence, the Ghanaian rapper has already asserted that his contribution to the remix of Bob Marley's "Stir it Up" is one of his most significant musical endeavors to date.

He compared how he owns the rap crown in Ghana to how people there view reggae and Bob Marley.

He is reported to have said;

"Many individuals believe that Bob Marley created reggae. Because Bob Marley is the only person who comes to mind when you think about reggae. That serves as the standard that the boys use. The same is true when it comes to Sarkodie's rap.
