The Adontehene of Assin-Asempanaye in the Assin North District, Nana Appiah Boadi I, is imploring Ghanaians to bury their individual differences and unite to accelerate development in their communities.He said that peace, unity and harmony were essential requirements for rapid socio-economic growth in every community. 

"No nation or country can develop without unity, peace, harmony and tranquillity." he added.

Nana Appiah Boadi I, made these comments at a ceremony to install some Chiefs at Assin-Asempanaye in the Central Region on Saturday, November 6.

In addition, the Nifahemaa of Assin-Asempanaye,  Nana Amankra I, cautioned girls against premarital sex to avoid teenage pregnancy. She urged them to preserve their dignity and also focus on their education.

She emphasised that, promiscuous lifestyle expose girls to various social vices that can ruin their future.  "The acts of immorality among girls nowadays were not only worrying but a disgrace and scorn to womanhood" she said.

The dignitaries who graced the occasion included; the District Chief Executive of Assin North, Mr Charles Ohene, Andoh, the Chief of Assin Nyankomase, Nana Apotei IV, Ehunabobrim Nana Prah Agyensaim VI, Paramount Chief of Assin Owirenkyi Traditional Area, the Presiding Member of the Assin North District Assembly, Mr Patrick Affum Ampomah among others.
