The Community Liaison Officer and Consultant for Contracta Construction UK Ltd, Mr Emmanuel Danso has urged all firms in the country to make sure they add corporate social responsibilities to their various activities. 

According to Mr Danso, it's a very onus on all companies, being a firm or Construction company especially those that get the chance to deal in good contracts to make sure they support the various communities in which they operate.

Mr Danso discloses that one of the fastest and safest ways through which communities can witness development and peaceful living is through such reflective gestures.

He mentioned that such activities should include; getting involved in volunteering work, engaging in charity work, investing in health, school, provision of potable water, supporting the needy, awarding scholarships to brilliant but needy students etc to help improve the living standards of the people within the various communities.

Mentioning such gestures, the Consultant of the Contracta construction UK company encouraged the various firms that providing social assistance such as hospitals, schools,  water, electricity etc to the communities should be a corporate social responsibility that must be added to their activities.

He said it's very urgent to add all those activities to help ensure fast development in the various communities.

Mr Danso disclosed this in an interview with this reporter when he led Contracta Construction UK Ltd to provide teaching and learning items for the New Kejetia Crèche, an infant school within the new Kejetia project.

The Crèche which was built as part of the project inside the new Kejetia was to help benefit nearby residents and workers inside the new Kejetia. 

The items which included baby dolls, large balls, plastic vehicles with wheels, nesting toys, soft blocks for building and many others was to help speed up learning for the young children.

On her part, the Manageress of the school, Miss Jonnels Konadu Mac-young also thanked the company and later expressed how crucial the learning items were going to benefit them the children.

According to her, children's learning required both hands-on and reading materials, and with these materials donated to the school she believed was going to help the school a lot.

She however entreated others to emulate the move made by the Contracta Construction UK company.

She finally revealed that the school dreams to introduce the young children the Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths(STEM) education at this early stage so that they could pick up fast. 

She however pleaded that the school, therefore, needs materials for the STEM program to equip the kids to pick up fast.
