The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Tain in the Bono Region, Dr. Lucy Acheampong, has called for concerted collaboration from stakeholders and opinion leaders to enable her effectively execute her developmental agenda.

  The Tain DCE made the call when she was addressing a Stakeholders' consultative Meeting at Nsawkaw. Stakeholders from four zones constituted by the assembly, thus; Manje/Dabebi zone, Badu zone, Serkwa zone, and Nsawkaw zone presented their developmental needs to the DCE as required of them for discussion and analysis so as to be able to develop strategic objectives and at the long run getting an action plan for the next three years.

Dr. Lucy asserted it was essential and a step in the right direction to make them remain focused on executing their plans and making her term successful.

The DCE also mentioned the setting up of a Tain Development plan; urging the people of Tain to contribute their quota in the developmental agenda in order to achieve the set goals for them to have a good living.

The stakeholders lauded the DCE for her initiative and assuring her of their support to making her dreams come through.

An opinion leader and a development committee member who is also the Seikwa Yokohene, Nana Okyere Darko III, is calling for an end to Chieftaincy disputes and is appealing for peace and unity to help foster development in the Tain District.
