Mr. Afful Manu Benjamin, a businessman and a Proprietor for Star of Africa Montessori Academy in Berekum East Municipality of the Bono Region has said, focusing on Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) will be a focal point to reduce the unemployment rate in Ghana.

According to the Proprietor, the dream of the country in transforming the economy through job creation should not neglect technical and vocational training to over-reading and writing form of education.

He added that most Ghanaians are erudite but lack basic job creation skills, hence unemployment challenges abound everywhere in the country.

In his view on the TVET initiative in an interview, Mr. Manu expressed that, the high youth unemployment gaps within the labor force underline the necessity for vocational and technical education, adding that it is time for us to focus and grasp the TVET initiative to exert in gradual to eradicate the foe of unemployment crisis poses to us.

The businessman lamented that Ghana must place TVET education at the center of its job creation strategy to successfully address the high youth unemployment rate in the country.

He, therefore, called that, TVET will help polish the rudimental talents in the youths naturally and the government needs to be sober on them to create a proactive system for the growth of their talents not to inhibit the talents.
