The Foxes recorded a 1-0 win against Chelsea at Wembley on Saturday having competed in five FA Cup finals.

Tielemans scored the only goal in the 63-minute despite Chelsea's equaliser late in the second half ruled out by the VAR.

The Blues loss makes them the first team to finish runners-up in consecutive FA Cup finals since Newcastle United in 1998 and 1999

It was all square at the break at Wembley as Chelsea failed to convert their dominance into clear-cut chances given Leicester plenty to think about which restricted the Foxes to those difficult headed opportunities for Soyuncu and Vardy. There was no shot on target recorded with both defences keeping it tight at the back to prevent any slip-up.

Albrighton came close within inches of releasing Vardy through on goal, but Kepa read the situation well and vacated his area to clear before it reached the Foxes frontman in the 60-minute.

Tielemans broke the deadlock with a sensational long-range strike.

The midfielder burst onto the ball in midfield and unleashed an incredible strike which whistled past Kepa into the top corner of the Chelsea goal.

Morgan scored an own goal to level Chelsea in the 89-minute; Thiago Silva picked out Chilwell's excellent run in behind and he kept the ball alive, diverting it into the six-yard box where Soyuncu's clearance cannoned off Wes Morgan into the Leicester net.

Chelsea responded in the 78-minute when a fingertip save from Schmeichel, who launched himself to his right with all he's got to claw Chilwell's goal-bound header off the goal line.

The video replay detected an offside that ensured, after four losing finals, Leicester would finally win world football’s oldest cup competition by 1-0 in the 140th final.
