In this regard, the Members of Mankata family  have sounded a strong worded warning the elders Nana Amon Kwame and Kwasi Amoani Oyoko Royal, particularly particularly William Agyekum Acquah Asante to retract all allegations he has levelled against the Deputy Ambassador to China, Madam Akua Afriyie over the purchase and ownership of portions of land at Panpanso Krokese in the Eastern Region.

Members of Mankata family of Panpanso in the Apedwa Traditional Area of the Eastern Region who believed to be the rightful owners of the parcel of land at Panpanso Krokese have broken their silence.
In this regard, the Members of Mankata family  have sounded a strong worded warnings to the elders Nana Amon Kwame and Kwasi Amoani Oyoko Royal, particularly particularly William Agyekum Acquah Asante to retract all allegations he has levelled against the Deputy Ambassador to China, Madam Akua Afriyie over the purchase and ownership of portions of land at Panpanso Krokese in the Eastern Region.
They pointed out that they owners of the lands situated at Panpanso Krokese and that they a legal vita land title documents to ascertain that she bought a genuine property from the chief of Panpanso who the real or allodial owners of the land.
 
At a press conference addressed by the linguist of the Mankata family, Okyeame Otibu indicated strongly that the Deputy Ambassador to China acquired the land genuinely from the allodial owners, hence all allegations that she had acquired the land illegally were false and liberious stories cooked by Mr Asante to tarnish reputation of the respectful woman.
Okyeame Otibu on behalf of  Makatta family of Pampaso called on Inspector General of Police (IGP) Dr Akuffo Dampare, National Security Minister, Mr Kan Dapaa and the government to intervene and settle the long standing land dispute between the two factions.
According to the Mankata family, Mr Asante has been parading himself as the allodial owner of Akyem Panpanso Lands which is false hence warning him to desist from such act and desist from tarnishing the good image of Mr Akua Afriyie over the same lands.
Okyeame Otibu stressed the need for Mr Asante of the Oyoko Royal family of Odumase to retract all allegations he has levelled against the Deputy Ambassador to China, Madam Akua Afriyie over the purchased and ownership of portions of land at Panpanso Krokese.
 Okyeame Otibu of Panpanso Krowkese, told the journalists that, the Deputy Ambassador to China genuinely and legally bought the land for over 20 years from the allodial owners (the late chief of Mankata family) hence all allegations that she had acquired the land illegally were false.
Okyeame Otibu stated that, nobody has the power to stand against Madam Akua Afriyie because she bought the land from us; from the Mankata family,” Okyeame Otibu stated.
Stressed that the land is a stool land and not the family land as being claimed by these elders of the Nana Amon Kwame and Kwasi Amoani Oyoko Royal family from Odumase (Kodjo Fosu) and Akwamu Akwatin.
 
He pointed out that the pieces of documentary envidence show that she together with her husband, Mr Owusu Afriyieh lawfully and legally bought the said land from the rightful and allodial owners of the land in Panpanso.
 
He explained that they bought the land from the late chief of Panpanso and dully registered with the Eastern Regional Office of Lands Commission in Koforidua and have all the necessary legal and lawful documents to that effect.
 
Additionally, they pointed out that the Paramount Chief of the Akyem Abuakwa Traditional Area, Osagyefuo Amoatia Ofori Panin II has also given the land title regularization documents to them, giving the legal backing to them that indeed they owned the title to the said land located at Odumase popularly called Panpanso.
He reiterated that she bought the land from the allodial owners of the land from Panpanso, saying that Mr Asante and his followers who are fighting against them over the land didn't even have traditional locus and capacity to do so.
Okyeame Otibu pointed out that she has never mentioned to the chief that the woman bought the land for the government to carry out One-District-One-Factory (1D1F) project as being claimed by the Kofi Appau and his followers. 
Okyeame Otibu together with the elders of Mankata family  was responding to the allegations leveled against Mrs Afriyie by elders of Nana Amon Kwame and Kwasi Amoani Oyoko Royal family from Odumase (Kodjo Fosu) and Akwamu Akwatin that  she has taken the 100-acres of land at Odumase [Panpanso] in the name of the government to carry out its flagship programme One-District-Factory.
But Okyeame Otibu flatly denied the allegations and described it as a complete lies and cooked story to score their fictitious points.
He said the woman has not told them that she bought the land to be used for the government planting for job project and that Mr Acquah should leave Mrs Afriyie alone and that she bought her land through genuine means from the allodial owners of the land.
He stressed that the members of Mankata family have not fraudulently sold the land to Mrs Afriyie, explaining that the all the documentary envidence showed by Mr Asante are fake to score his points.
He maintained that Mr Asante has been declared guilty at the Kibi Court in the connection of this land litigation issue.
He pointed out that they don't want to shed blood on the land of the Mankata family lands, the situation which had informed their decision to use the legal process to litigate the matter.
