LBF partner GBA  to facelift basketball  in Ghana

Plans are far advanced with making basketball one of the coveted sports in Ghana with the partnership between Ghana Basketball Association(GBA) and Lithuania Basketball Federation(LBF).
This, according to the Vice President of the Ghana Basketball Association(GBA), Mr. Alex Kukula who was optimistic that the partnership would yield many benefits and revamp the ailing sport in the country.
Mr. Kukula observed that the partnership promised to spur the growth of the game, making it one of the major coveted sports in the country.
According to him, the new partnership would inject new life into the game while attracting interested young talented individuals who otherwise would have had their talent buried but would now be presented with the multi-million opportunities to unleash their God-given talents.
Disclosing at a press briefing at the Accra Sports Stadium, Mr.Kulula indicated that Ghana was settled upon by Lithuania giants ahead of Nigeria just by grace, therefore, hinting that no stone would be left unturned in actualizing the targeted purpose.
On his part, the most successful and celebrated Lithuanian giant, Mr. Jonas Vainauskas said Ghana Basketball would be top-notch with the partnership.
Mr. Vainauskas said Ghana basketball holds a promising future and therefore the opportunity was a golden one to take advantage of.
In the end, he said talents would be harnessed and be given the best of training at the International Basketball University(IBU). 
A member of the GBA, Mr. Edward Ampong seized to occasion to donate ten brand new basketballs to the Association to beef up the stock of the association.
Receiving the balls on behalf of GBA, Mr. Ayitey Bulley assured me that the balls would be put to good use.
