Lawyer Sosu Petition CJ To Transfer A Case Involving An NDC Organizer On Grounds Of Bias And Prejudice
Among others, Mr Sosu alleges that the judge has consistently made prejudicial comments, rushed the trial, denied critical evidence and is determined to rush the trial to a closure despite formal application against her for recusal on grounds of bias.
A Human Rights lawyer and MP for Madina who is the trial lawyer of one Ibrahim Mohammed, a farmer, an NDC ward Organizer in Anyaa Sowutuom who is standing trial at Circuit court 10 has petitioned the CJ for the transfer of the case from the trial judge, Her Honour Evelyn Asamoah based on serious allegations of bias which undermines the fair trial of the case as guaranteed by Article 19 of the 1992 Constitution.

Hon. Sosu insists that the accused person would not receive fair trial given the posture of the judge.
