When a government is doing well and comes to you asking you to support it you open your arms to support it as a sign of goodwill to encourage the government to do even more and even far better.

His Excellency John Dramani Mahama has asked Ghanaians to allow him to charge just GHC 1.00 on fuel in order to raise urgent funds to support the huge energy sector debt mainly created and left behind by the failed NPP government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo and Dr. Mahmoud Bawumia.

This need to charge just GHC 1.00 Levy on fuel has come at a time Ghanaians are witnessing unprecedented good governance something many didn't think was possible.

The dollar which was above 19 Cedis is now around 10 Cedis. This downfall is a history made. Never in our history have we seen such strength and gains of our cedi compared to the dollar.

Prices of goods have started tumbling down due to the good policies of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, the Finance Minister as well as the many appointees of the government who are working together to see Ghana do so well and become a better place for us.

Transport fares are all going down and reducing.

Fuel prices have gone down drastically. These are huge windfalls and tremendous savings and benefits to Ghanaians.

Importers now need less Cedis to obtain more dollars. That's a huge savings for the importer.

The private and public transport driver in Ghana now is saving a lot of money from heavily reduced petrol prices.

Ghanaians are saving extra money from reduced prices of goods on the market.

Savings are being made from reduced transport fares.

All of these savings put together constitutes a tremendous benefit to Ghanaians and all these are coming from a government that is not even fully in place yet.

Fact is that the government is still in its formation stage as many appointments are yet to be made.

There are four (4) more Deputy Ministerial appointments that are outstanding. These are additional brains that are yet to be added to the team to do excellent work for Ghana. There are many Boards that are yet to be formed and inaugurated.

So you can imagine the tremendous and gargantuan benefits Ghanaians stand to derive from a fully formed government.

Our elders say that if the day will be sweet the morning shows. So far so Good and thumps up to all the appointees who are sacrificing and working so hard to make Ghana a better place.

If we can see, feel and enjoy the benefits of good governance, we should be proud, eager, and willing to support the government with whatever it needs to continue to provide us with good governance.

It is the only thing we can do to show appreciation for the good work so far and to encourage our dear President and his partial team to continue to do more for us.

It is clear that better days are ahead for this country so let us all as one family support the good initiatives and policies of our government.

If you are to pay just GHC 1.00 levy out of the huge savings you are making on a daily basis you should not hesitate.

Let us pay the levy so we can quickly clear the energy sector debt for our own good. Once the debt is cleared Ghanaians will enjoy even more better days.

Ghana is working again. The reset is on course.

God bless our homeland Ghana
