Lampard and Mourinho nominated for Manager of the Month Award

Nuno won the previous accolade after an unbeaten month winning against Fulham, Leeds United and Crystal Palace.

Frank Lampard, Jose Mourinho, David Moyes and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have been nominated for the Manager of the Month Award in November.

Nuno Espirito Santos is the current holder beating competitions from Ralph Hasenhuttl, Jose Mourinho, David Moyes and Dean Smith two months ago to claim the accolade.

The effectiveness of Lampard's £250m acquisition of Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Timo Werner, Edouard Mendy and Kai Havertz was seen best after successful results for the Blues in the month.

He guided Chelsea to a 4-1 win over Sheffield United before the Blues earned successive clean sheets against Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur in an unbeaten month as they joined the top four contenders in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho missed October's award and would seek to win it for the first time since taking over Spurs after been nominated for the second consecutive time.

The Portuguese claimed three straight victories with Spurs in the month, culminating an impressive 2-0 triumph over Manchester City, before drawing at top-four rivals Chelsea to finish November top of the table. David Moyes' West Ham United were the only side to win all of their matches in the month, defeating both Fulham and Sheffield Utd by 1-0 scorelines before a 2-1 home success over Aston Villa.

Manchester United recovered from the home defeat by Arsenal with three successive victories, including scoring three times in comeback wins at Everton and Southampton.

Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola are yet to win any of the Awards this season.

The public vote will be combined with those of a panel of football experts to decide the winner.
