Kwahu Obomeng Installs New Queen-Mother To Succeed The Late Nana Daawa Asiedua II
The chiefs of Kwahu Obomeng have introduced the newly installed Queeother, Obaaheman Yaa Kwei II to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo, when he came to mourn with the chiefs and the people of Kwahu Obomeng during the funeral rites of late Queen-Mother Nana Daawa Asiedua ll.

The Chief of Kwahu Obomeng Traditional Area,Nana Effah Opinamang III and his elders have replaced the late Queen Mother, Nana Daawa Asiedua II peaceful with newly installed Queen-Mother under the stool name Obaaheman Yaa Kwei II.

Addressing the "Akwan-sre-fo-hene" Nana Kwaku Somuah of Kwahu Obomeng explained, that the people of Kwahu Obomeng are peaceful and dislike litigation so with the support of Obomeng Chief, Nana Effah Opinamang lll they have installed a new Queen-Mother, Obaaheman Yaa Kwei II who is known privately as Yaa Mina, a business woman in Accra.
Nana Kwaku Somuah stressed, this proves that the people of Kwahu Obomeng are peaceful and dislike litigation.
He appealed to the communities with chieftaincy disputes and misnderstandings to let peace prevail for development.
