Kwabre East MP, Francisca Oteng Mensah Is Set To Lose Her Seat Over Her Continuous Poor Performance

Oteng Mensah is set to lose her parliamentary seat comes NPP parliamentary primaries over her continuous poor performance which has compounded with the lack of social and infrastructure amenities in the constituency.
The aggrieved youths of the NPP in the constituency led by the stauch NPP Communicator in the Ashanti Region, Amos Mensah strongly criticised their MP for not showing an interest in the development and welfare of the constituency, and their citizens.
They pointed out that the continuous poor performance of the current MP has made the NPP to loss the puporlarlity in the Kwabre East Constituency, making the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to be gaining grounds in the area.
"Since Madam Francisca Oteng Mensah has been elected the MP to represent them in Parliament for the past six to seven years now, the Kwabre East constituency is completely lacking social amenities such as roads, water, sanitation, electricity, health facilities and education infrastructures
"But when we complained to our MP to do something about these problems she would tell us that it is not the role of parliamentarian to fix roads, build health clinics, construct schools and expand other infrastructural development in their constituencies.
"She tells us that the President, Metropolitan Municipal and District Assemblies and sector ministers are the only mandated bodies to provide development across the country," the NPP youths noted.
They stated that the MP has promised to build the NPP office in Kwabre but this project has come standstill, saying that the lack proper office of the party in the constitueny was adversely affecting the activities of the party in the area.
The NPP Communicator and serial caller in the Ashanti Region, Mr Amos Mensah on behalf of the youths stated that they would ensure that Honorable Francisca Oteng Mensah lose her seat come NPP parliamentary primaries.
According to the astute member of the party, the female MP is sleeping on the job, the reason, he stressed compiled them to change her to bring a new face.
He pointed out that all major roads in the constituency are dusty and need reshaping, but the MP, who happens to be the daughter of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Angel Group of Companies, has turned deaf ears to their calls.
“Hon. Francisca Oteng Mensah is feeling complacent and languishing in the job. However, calling on her to take expeditious plans to ensure roads in the constituency are motorable to intensify productivity or we will ensure she loses her seat in the NPP parliamentary primaries come,” he added.
Mr Mensah reiterated that the NPP remains loyal to the people of Ashanti, perhaps ensuring them to embrace the good jobs of the Akufo-Addo government.
“The Suame interchange will take some few months to complete, but surely government will complete it to honour of the Ashanti for being loyal to the party. We will plead with all and sundry to remain placid and supportive."
