Kumawu By-election: Duffuor Storms Kumawu To Campaign For NDC Parliamentary Candidate, Kwasi Amankwaa

Former Minister of Finance and Economic Planning Dr. Kwabena Duffuor on Friday May 19, 2023 joined thousands of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) faithful(s) to campaign for NDC parliamentary candidate for Kumawu Constituency in the Ashanti Region, Mr. Kwasi Amankwaa, popularly known as ‘Tom Cee’ to lead the party into 23rd May 2023 By-election.
As a native of Kumawu, Dr. Duffuor who doubles as the former Governor of Bank of Ghana (BoG) is fully committed towards enabling the party to secure a victory in this by-election, particularly one involving his native people.
Following this development, Dr. Duffuor is invited all to rally behind the party and our candidate before, during and after this by-election, to meet our momentum ahead of our general election contest in 2024.

Mr Amankwa brother to Dr. Kwabena Duffuor is the sole parliamentary candidate who picked and filed his nomination when the party opened nominations.
