Acting headteacher of  Kukuom Seven Day Adventist (SDA) Junior high School, Mr Felix Adu Boakye says the nature of their school building is affecting their studies especially when it rains.

 The Acting headteacher of  Kukuom Seven Day Adventist (SDA) Junior high School in Asunafo South of Ahafo Region has made a passionate appeal to Ghana Education Service for emergency classroom block construction.

The Headteacher of the School Mr Felix Adu Boakye made this appeal when Soireenews Sulley Dramani visited the school following series of calls from the parents.

He explained that the thatched shades under which children from kindergarten to class six were studying had become death traps necessitating the construction of an 'emergency classroom'.

Mr Boakye disclosed  that since the establishment of the school, no proper structure has been put up which effective teaching and learning in the school

'We tried holding classes under trees but you know the rain and stormy weather disrupted our activities. 

He said, he had written series of  letters to the 'authorities' but to no avail and expressed worry 'we are appealing to the government to come to our aid ", he passionately appealed

The Assemblymember for Kukuom Abromam electoral area Honourable Galley Michael, expressed his worries about the poor nature of the school since it has totally affected their studies, hence urging the government to provide computers for the school.
