Kotoko, San Pedro Confederations Cup Play off Called OFF

Asante Kotoko and FC San Pedro’s CAF Confederation’s Cup last round play-off qualifier at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium has been called off after a heavy downpour at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The match was 0-0 level at half time after missed opportunities from the Porcupine Warriors. The players re-emerged from the dressing room to start the second half but were called back from the pitch as the rains increased.
A kick around of the ball by center referee Eugine Nkosinathi Mdlule to check the movement of the ball proved futile as the game was called off.
