The Management of Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has terminated the contract of head coach, Kjetil Zachariassen.

The News was rumored to be put in effect after Kotoko were axed from the CAF Champions League and Confederations Cup preliminary stage having fortified a budget, which saw a vass addition of prolific players brought into the team.

The Norwegian was in charge of the Porcupine Warriors for only four months following his take over from C. K. Akonor. Zachariassen spent a week in Ivory Coast after the defeat of Kotoko to San Pedro FC with reports confirming threatening on his life by Kotoko fans.

He arrived in Kumasi this week and the news was revealed that his services would no longer be needed in the Porcupine Club.
