Richard Mofe-Damijo, RMD as he is widely known and fondly referred to is the biggest male actor to come out of Nigeria in particular and Africa as a whole. He has starred in well over 60 movies and TV Series locally and internationally.

RMD has been on the scene for decades and has maintained been married, he has also featured in intimate roles in several films, having to lock lips with some ladies, including Dakore.

Recently, he was asked to answer a question on a kissing blast in one of the most recent films he acted in, that is Omoni Oboli’s ‘Love is War’ in which they acted like couple.

Although both are married in real life, they still go ahead to kiss at a point in the movie.

Speaking on this, he actor says such a kiss is just an artistic expression.
According to RMD, he said;  “You can’t enjoy it because you don’t even know the number of people there asking you to do it, to start, to stop and all the like,” he notes in an interview aired on ‘Channels Television’ on Sunday night.

Mofe-Damijo, however, concedes that, sometimes, some of the actors/actresses get carried away and they want a relationship with him even after the screen experience.

He notes that, at that moment, he lets them know that the role they are playing in a film is just that of a character, meaning that it cannot continue in real life.

The Oboli’s film titled ‘Love is War’ is about what happens when a husband and wife run for the gubernatorial seat of the same state under different parties.

“Sparks fly in the second collaboration between Inkblot Productions and Dioni Visions Entertainment as a husband and wife both win the nominations as the gubernatorial candidates of two major parties,” the producer says in a statement.

While ‘Love is War is directed by Oboli, it features other notable and up-and-coming actors such as Jide Kosoko, Akin Lewis, Toke Makinwa, Shaffy Bello, Femi Branch, Uzo Osimkpa, Yomi Black, Damilare Kuku and William Benson.
