Killer Of Stabbed Cape Coast Dancehall Artist Unruly Grank Sentenced To "Death By Hanging".

The Cape Coast High Court 'A' presided over by His Lordship Emmanuel Lodoh has pronounced a death sentence to the killer of renowned Cape CCoast-based Dancehall Artist 'Unruly Grank' who sadden death occurred on Sunday, 7th February 2021 to "death by hanging" on Wednesday, 18th January 2023.

The accused killer, Bright Ellis, affectionately known as 'Shadow' according to earlier reports indicated stabbed the budding Dancehall Artist with a knife over an alleged music beef.

The 24-year-old Emmanuel Aikins, deceased artist's untimely death took place at the Orange Beach Resort in the Cape Coast South Constituency of the Central Region at about 15:00hours GMT.

After the ruling, the mother to the deceased artist Madam Kate Swanzy "The Goal" briefed the press, expressing her excitement over what she termed as a fair ruling and urged Ghanaians to at times exercise patience in matters relating to court trials for proper findings to be carried out.

She, however, unveiled that, she has now gotten to understand that when one is granted bail during court proceedings, never depicts such an individual will be a free person as happened in her son's trial.

She extended her heartfelt appreciation to the case's Attorney General Mr Vincent Nyenaku for his unflinching cooperation towards her throughout the court hearing. 

Summing up her narration, the mother of his son's killer will by this verdict experience an eternal version of the pains she went through during the earlier stages of her son's death. 

In addition, the Uncle of the deceased Dancehall Artist, Papa Kojo Swanzy also shares his delight over the ruling thanked the judge who o through thick and thin sat over the case which lasted for two (2) solid years with undiluted sincerity and equally advised youths of today to be extremely careful of violent and murder acts and cautioning that there are set out laws which are ever ready to deal with anyone who will be caught in any nefarious acts.
