Key NDC Footsoldier Detained At Battor Catholic Hospital Over Unpaid Medical Bills
Mr. John Asigbey, a 60-year-old patient and key supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the North Tongu Constituency, has been detained by the hospital for almost getting to a year now due to unpaid medical bills.
A distressing situation has unfolded at the Battor Catholic Hospital in the North Tongu District of the Volta Region.
Mr. John Asigbey, a 60-year-old patient and key supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the North Tongu Constituency, has been detained by the hospital for almost getting to a year now due to unpaid medical bills.
Mr Asigbey, also known as Dzakpasu, who hails from Mepe, underwent a cancer surgical operation but was unable to pay his debts to the hospital.
His daily care has been funded by his son, Mr Gasue Enoch, who is worried about his father's situation.
It is against this backdrop that Mr Enoch is making a passionate appeal to the NDC leadership, philanthropists, and organisations to help pay his father's debts so that he can be released from the hospital.
