Jubilation Galore As Felix Foster Ackah Defeats Incumbent NPP Western North Regional Secretary 

It was a jubilation galore following the election of Hon. Felix Foster Ackah as the  Western North  Regional Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). Hon.  Felix Foster Ackah was two term Constituency secretary for Aowin and the incumbent Regional Communication Director.

He also contested in the 2019 annual delegates elections and lost to the incumbent by 11 votes and has come to win this year's election by three votes.

According to the delegates, Felix distinguishably as the Regional Communication Director for the party hence their decision to elevate him to the position of Regional Secretary. They further described him  described as a leader of vision.

Speaking in an interview with the journalists after his victory, Hon. Ackah expressed his appreciation to all (both delegates and supporters) for helping him to win his election as the regional secretary. He however called for calm among the party as their focus is the 2024 elections. "Yes there is the need for celebration I want to admonish my supporters to exercise restrain in their celebration as this is just an internal affairs"

"The 27th of May, 2022 afforded an enabling opportunity to  NPP delegates in the Western North Region* to elect their Regional Executives who will steer affairs for the next four years.

"The success of this peaceful election tells us that, we are people from the same stock with one common destiny, and for that matter, what unites us as a people must always override the things that actually disunite us," Mr Ackah noted.

In his victory speech, Mr Ackah stressed that
"I must on this note take the opportunity, to show utmost appreciation to my teeming supporters who shared in my dream and campaigned for me  assiduously for this victory. I am thankful for this wonderful." commitment.

He stated that "May the Almighty God, replenish all those who sacrificed their time, energy and resource(s) towards the successful conduct of the Election.

He added that we owe it as a collective responsibility to set the party up for complete unification. 

He emphasized that the battle ahead of us going into 2024 election as newly elected Regional Executives puts a daunting task on our shoulders which to me, should be a wake up call on all and sundry. 

He stressed that May God bless us all and make the NPP great and strong..
