On Tuesday, the team's first public practice was held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, and all 25 players showed up.

In a pair of qualifying matches for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), the Black Stars will take on Angola.

On March 23, Chris Hughton's team will host Angola in Kumasi before taking on the Black Antelopes four days later in Luanda in an effort to secure a spot in the competition for the following year.

The team's practice for the games was temporarily put on hold on Tuesday after Wollacott was hurt when a goalpost fell on him.

The goalpost toppled on the Charlton Athletic shot-stopper as he was working out with his teammates, hurting him.

Wollacott fell to the ground holding his leg, and the medical staff sprang into action to provide him with emergency care.

The extent of the 26-year-injury old's is now unknown, but he was forced to miss the rest of the training session.
