John Dumelo Ask IGP Not To Sack The Drunk Officer

Ghanaian actor cum politician John Dumelo appealed to IGP not to sack the police officer who was captured on camera in a supposed drunken state after a report of him being expelled hit on social media.

John Dumelo made this submission on his Twitter page where he tweeted emotionally after he saw a letter showing the said police officer had been indicted.

The actor has pleaded with IGP George Akuffo Dampare, not to sack the officer as they can resolve his problem in the home after the investigation has been carried out.

He wrote, '‘Dear IGP, please don’t sack the said officer. I’m sure we can resolve his problem in the house. Thanks, sir.’’

Though the investigation has begun, John Dumelo thinks there are different ways around the whole story aside from sacking the said officer from his post and that’s why he took to Twitter to plead with the IGP on his behalf.

Recall that a video of said police in a perceived drunken state hit the social media and went viral which the Ghana Police service has already taken action against him as a report sighted online shows he has been indicted to pave way for investigation.
