John Cena makes a shocking return at WWE Money In The Bank to set up clash with Roman Reigns

The 16-time WWE World-heavyweight Champion -- John Cena finally made his WWE return in an epic fashion at last night’s Money In The Bank pay-per-view.

The WWE mega-star is now set to headline the Summerslam against Roman Reigns after confronting the Universal Champion.

The WWE legend – John Cena has not wrestled since WrestleMania 36 in April 2020. 
That was when he lost a Firefly Fun House Match to 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt at the height of the coronavirus pandemic.

The 44-year-old WWE superstar has since focused his efforts on his blossoming Hollywood career.
And he is thriving as he follows in the footsteps of fellow ring legends Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and Dave 'Batista' Bautista.

However, The Doctor of Thugganomics had been strongly rumoured to be making a comeback to challenge The Universal Champion in August.

And they have proven to be true after his stunning comeback sent the crowd wild in Fort Worth, Texas.
Cena’s big moment came after Reigns had just retained his title against Edge.

Suddenly the audience erupted as the legend’s iconic music hit and out he came. Cena headed towards the ring and stood face-to-face with the Tribal Chief, seemingly challenging him to a showdown.

During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon, Cena did confirm he would be heading back to WWE.

“Those rumours are true.

“I will definitely be back to the WWE. 

“I just don’t know when.” John Cena reveals.

Will the Cenation Leader capture the Universal Championship from The Big Dog and break the 16-time championship tie with the Nature Boy – Ric Flair? The biggest party of the summer will indeed answer all those questions.
