JHS 2 pupil drowned at Akaporiso

A 16-year- old student of Cill Anglican Junior High School 2, Sekinatu Mohammed has met her untimely death.
The death of the young lady occurred on Sunday, September 5, 2021at Akaporiso.
Sekinatu Mohammed, who lives with her parents at Akaporiso a suburb at Obuasi East District of the Ashanti Region according to SoireeNews correspondent was sent by her madam to assist her with household chores and fill her cylinder.
On her way to deliver the cylinder, upon reaching Merekwe river, she slipped and fell into to river trying to cross the footbridge around 2 pm.
Her lifeless body was retrieved around 4:30 pm the same day by some residents together with the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO).
The body has been deposited at the Obuasi Government Hospital Morgue.
