Prophet Stephen Akwasi Appiah aka Jesus Ahuofe has been picked up by the Ghana Police Service today.

He was reportedly escorted from the premises of Accra FM to assist Police with investigations surrounding his doom-prophesy on Shatta Wale.

Nana Romeo of Accra FM confirmed the news on his program following Shatta Wale’s death revelation which has caused a stir on Ghanaians after the Dancehall King pranked a death threat on his life.

Shatta Wale on Monday evening was alleged to have been shot by gunmen in his residence at East Legon and was admitted in an emergency ward in an unknown hospital.

The Ghana Police Service further released a statement that they were monitoring the development of the incident and had two major outcomes at the time of the statement.

After Shatta in a Facebook post denied the reality of the story, terming it as a prank due to the emotional and psychological trauma he has been going through. His whereabouts remain unknown, and the Police Service has switched its focus on the Prophet of New Life Kingdom Chapel International popularly known as Jesus Ahoofe.

According to Nanan Romeo, Jesus Ahoofe was supposed to go live on his Entertainment show on Accra FM but was seized by the Security Service.

“I host the man of God on my show every Tuesday for discussions on spiritual matters. He came around and was been prepped for the show but has been picked by the Ghana Police.

"He was transported in a White colour pickup with the registration number, 1892- 19 accompanied by another car GP-249. He is in the grip of the Police,” he said.
