The donation of the bus was part of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo-led NPP government's plans to support Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) education in the country to facilitate entrepreneurship and create more jobs opportunities in the country.
Speaking at a mini durbar for the handing-over ceremony, the DCE stated that President through the Free TVET education policy procured the buses for all technical institutions.

He pleaded with the school authorities and the entire student body to ensure the maintenance of the bus to help reduce extra costs that may be derived as a result of poor maintenance culture which will lead to a total breakdown of the vehicle.
