Jail for white pastor who planned black genocide

A white supremacist who planned to exterminate black South Africans and stage a revolution in the nation has been sentenced to life in prison.

Using AK-47 rifles, hand grenades, and rocket launchers, Harry Knoesen, 64, the leader of a far-right terrorist organization, planned to destroy the government on November 28, 2019.

The Mpumalanga High Court was informed that Knoesen even wished to eradicate black people via biological weapons.

According to National Prosecuting Authority spokesman Monica Nyuswa, "He attempted to defend his beliefs on theological grounds, asserting that God had commanded that he should restore South Africa for white people."

Knoesen has received a total of two life sentences plus 21 years in prison for offenses related to terrorism.
