Popular Ghanaian fetish priest Nana Kwaku Bonsam has got many talking on the internet after claiming that he has named his children after two famous Ghanaian singers.
Is normal in Africa for people to honor their loved ones by naming their offspring after them, a way of expressing their gratitude.
Speaking in an interview with Larry the Oldman on Onua FM’s Anigye mere program, Nana Kwaku Bonsam asserted that he has named his children after Shatta Wale and Sarkodie because of his admiration for them.
According to the priest, the Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie and the dancehall artist Shatta Wale are close to his heart.
He said, ‘Shatta Wale and Sarkodie are two of my all-time favorite musicians. To honor Shatta and Sark, I’ve named my children after them. Yaa Shatta Bonsam and Sark are my daughter’s names.’’
He continued by telling Larry the Oldman “It’s a done deal. I can show it to you immediately from my phone.”
According to him Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, and Sarkodie” are among his other top picks and he’ll get to meet them face-to-face.
