Inter Allies urges the Appeal Committee that DC's decision to demote us should be reversed.

Inter Allies has sought the Ghana Football Association's Appeal Committee to overturn the disciplinary committee's decision to demote the club to Division Two following their involvement in a match-fixing incident.

Inter Allies, who were relegated to the Division One League last season, were found guilty of match-fixing in their match against AshantiGold on Matchday 34 last season.

The club filed an appeal with the GFA on Wednesday, May 18, claiming that they were treated unfairly.

In an interview with JoySports, Tampico's lawyer, Felix Nana Osei, explained why the club decided to appeal the ruling.

"It is the club's position that the material presented or heard during the disciplinary committee's procedures was not strong enough to tie the club down on the charges leveled against us," he stated.

"The foundation of our appeal is that we want the judgment against us to be completely reversed."

"Emmanuel Nii Amoah used to be with the club as far back as the 2014/15 season," Osei said when asked about Emmanuel Nii Amoah, who was caught in the verdict by the GFA. He was the club's logistics officer."

He further stated that the individual in question resigned from the club after being promoted to chief.
