Instill discipline to augment sanitation in Techiman - Kentenhene

Kentenhene, Oheneba Owusu Antwi Boasiako II  who doubles as Dabehene of Techiman Traditional council and also the chairman of the Techiman Traditional Council Sanitation committee has urged the people of Techiman and environs to ensure discipline when it comes to sanitation.

In an interview with the newsmen, the Chief explained that sanitation forms part of the most necessitated aspect of life for one to be a watchdog to each other.

"The most painful thing is when people realize that it's about raining then people throw refuse into gutter thinking that the rain will take it away without thinking that it will affect someone somewhere," the Kentenhene lamented.

He consequently charged those crooks to refrain from the unscrupulous act

He said there has been an arrangement for the provision of dustbins to reduce the influx of refuse at the environs.

He expressed satisfaction about the recycling plant project ongoing in the Region which is spearhead by Zoomlion, stating that it will help to reduce the influx of refuse in some communities.
