Samuel Umtiti won't be available to face Villarreal when Barcelona travel to the Estadio de la Ceramica for their Sunday night clash with the in-form Yellow Submarine.

The center-back has pain in his left knee and will receive conservative treatment, with it not clear when he'll be able to return.

Knee injuries have troubled the Frenchman throughout his Barcelona career.

Those injuries and the strong performances of Clement Lenglet have limited Umtiti to just 13 LaLiga Santander appearances so far this term.
