Ghanaian artiste, Kofi Mole has touted himself as being above many others when it comes to wisdom.

According to him, this is the sole reason he has stayed relevant for so long in the music industry.

He said this in the direction of artists who don't have sound strategies with regards to staying afloat in the entertainment scene.

He maintained that his strategies all revolve around fending for himself and not relying on what politicians promise to do for the entertainment industry.

“It’s my business and when we get the platform we appeal to the government because they are in control of the entertainment industry. But we can’t force it so when we say it and they respond fine if not then we concentrate on what we can do."

“Coming up I have not been relying on government because it has always been me and my people so I’m very concerned about what the political parties are saying about the creative art industry.”

Nothing prophetic about my predictions - Kofi Mole

Kofi Mole disclosed this in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM.

“Not really, I have not heard any of the campaign promises by the major political parties towards the creative arts industry.

“I have been a bit busy so later on we’ll link up with the political party officials and see who is having better policies for us to support their agenda,” he continued.

The artiste, who won the 2020 VGMA Hip Hop Song of the year, asserted that musicians should have strategies that will help them survive regardless of the surrounding situation.

He lamented that most artistes just want to live off other means instead of fending for themselves. Surely, he noted, politicians will be willing to give out money now since the election is only a few months away.

Kofi Mole warned that 'artistes should know that that particular source of income will dey up once the politicians get what they want.'
