I'm not pleased with what's going on at MUSIGA — Sidiku Buari

Since Bice Osei- Kuffour also known as Obour, finished his term as president of the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA), in 2019.The union has been unable to elect new executives.

Many union members have been very concerned by the recent court cases that have been flying left, right, and center. Former MUSIGA president Alhaji Sidiku Buari is one of these.

Alhaji Sidiku Buari voiced his displeasure with the events in the union in a conversation with Graphic Showbiz.

"I am extremely dissatisfied with the current situation; the court case is not actually essential at this time. The most crucial action is to attend assembly and select the individuals who will oversee its operations. It is very important.”

"Everyone is turned off by the problems with MUSIGA; some union members have lost enthusiasm as a result of the numerous controversies. These legal battles should be ignored because they won't benefit anyone. Simply go to Congress to choose your representatives.

Alhaji Sidiku Buari responded, "Like every organization, you will always have issues, but during my tenure, we did not experience these types of court cases as it is happening now," when asked if he encountered issues of this nature while serving as president of MUSIGA.

"Yes, we dealt with our fair share of problems, but not to the point of heading to court. The popular musicians, who were constantly bluffing because they knew they were attractive, were the primary cause of our problems, he continued.
