Naja has placed herself on the list of artists who want to win the first Grammy Award for Ghana.

Many artists have vowed to win a maiden Grammy award for Ghanaian after Nigeria's Burna Boy and Wizkid both won Grammy Awards at the last edition.

Artistes in Ghana dame under severe criticism, as their Nigerian counterparts are making the continent proud while the only thing they do best is in fighting.

Since then, Kuami Eugen has asked all Ghanaians to support him in his quest to win the Grammy award for Ghana, while others have sworn to do whatever it takes to bag the prestigious award.

Naja, who was the teen sensation in the 2020 edition of Joy prime’s Prime studio, has now stated that she might be the first to win the award ahead of all others.

“Yes, I’m going to win the Grammy’s in the next three years. Because I believe in myself and the team behind me, so we are going to get there.”

This she said while Speaking with Cookie Tee on the Showbiz segment of TV3’s New Day.

The Sunyani born artiste expressed her desire to perform in all genres to increase her chances of bagging the award.

“I want to do all of the genres. I can sing gospel music and I have recorded gospel. It's titled ‘Show me, love’ and yet to be released.”

“I was in school when I saw the flier that I just got nominated in the 3Music Awards, and I was very happy.”

Fresh off her nomination in the 2021 3Music Awards in the category of the Next Rated Act, Naja has declared that she can prove herself to the world, so she’s releasing many singles this year with her recent hot tunes titled ‘Waferwafer' and ‘Jealous.’

“I wanna prove to the world what I can do best. And so I’m releasing singles. Yes, by the end of this month, something must blow,” she concluded.
