Rex Omar has accused the government of being partial in its judgement towards certain individuals.

The chairman of the Ghana Music Rights Organization (GHAMRO) called out the government concerning its alleged apprehension of Bullgod.

According to him, there should be uniformity in the judgements of the government and if one individual is subject to punishment for a particular thing then everybody else that does that thing should suffer the same fate.

Anything apart from that, per his words, can only be described as selective attacks on certain individuals.

Rex Omar expressed his dissatisfaction at the unfortunate trend where the government has been known to use such institutions as the National Investigations Bureau (NIB) or the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service, to intimidate individuals who speak against it.

He then further questioned why the government has not picked up the MP for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapaong after he made threats to burn down the house of the former president, John Dramani Mahama as well as his threats against judges.

"I am not justifying Bulldog's action but we must understand that the show on which he made such comments is an entertainment show known for its loudness and its newsworthiness," He maintained.

Per his words, powerful people in Ghana have gone on air and made very damning claims or distasteful threats at the president or the government but have been let off the hook.

We’ll get our monies back else Nana Addo will run; he won’t finish his four years. I’m telling you. He won’t finish his four years.” He said.

Bullgod, however, apologised for his statement before the show ended.
