The Edo State Government has announced Monday, January 10, 2022, as the resumption date for all primary and secondary schools in the state.

In a statement, Permanent Secretary, Edo State Ministry of Education, Mrs. Stella-Maris Imasuen, said parents/guardians are to ensure that all relevant learning materials are provided for their children/wards.

She however noted that Idogbo secondary school remains closed till further notice.

Imasuen stated, “This is to inform principals, Primary School Heads, Proprietors of private schools, Parents/Guardians and the general public that all schools: primary and secondary (public and private) in Edo State resume for the second term of 2021/2022 on Monday 10th January 2022.

“However, Idogbo secondary school, Idogbo remains closed till further notice.

"Parents/Guardians are to ensure that their children/wards have relevant learning materials necessary for learning before coming to school.”
