I Will Always Demand For A Better Ghana - Lydia Forson

Lydia Forson has continued to put pressure on political leaders from her social media page.

The vocal actress, in a series of tweets this morning, maintained that the ultimate goal that every Ghanaian should have is a better Ghana for the ones to come in the future.

A greedy nature and a callous mind are what makes politicians and their supporters cause unnecessary chaos in the country that they should be fixing, she maintained.

In her first tweet, Lydia Forson established that will not stop until her demands for a better Ghana is met by whoever is in power regardless of the opposition.

"I will continue to be consistent in my demands for a better Ghana regardless of who is in power. My voice doesn’t change depending on who’s in government – the tune will always be the same. Because for me it’s Ghana first." She stated. 

She continued her accusations by claiming the people in power are blinded by the wealth they've amassed and the brutal realities that Ghanaians face daily aren't evident to them.

"A majority of people in power have lost touch with reality and the people. When you listen to them talk you realize that somewhere in their minds they truly believe in what they’re doing for the people. Their privilege however blinds/shields them from our realities. Sad"

"I don’t believe the Ghana we want is going to happen in 4 years, it will be unrealistic to have these expectations of anyone in power. But it’s possible to lay the foundation towards that change. Our only fear now is that we don’t see the foundation towards it…"

Lydia Forson has been attacking the lackadaisical attitude of politicians for as long as she's had a platform on social media.

She periodically educates her audiences on the usefulness of holding leaders to account instead of just following them blindly.
