Ama K. Abebrese has exposed what she feels is a violation of fundamental human rights.

According to the actress and TV host, she should not be seeing exorbitant prices of nose masks, especially during this period when it is needed the most.

She admitted that she almost went into shock when she upon seeing some prices tried to purchase nose masks in the face of rising COVID-19 infections.

Immediately taking to her Twitter page, she questioned why the prices are so high at certain some trail shops.

Recalling how she was nearly duped at a pharmacy when the attendant tried to sell a pack of nose mask to her for more than almost four times the actual price, she stated that most of the nos mask outlets are trying to scam Ghanaians out of their hard-earned money just because of the pandemic.

At the Pharmacy, she was told that the cost of a pack of nose masks was GHC 150.

She admitted that she left the drug store after seeing how much they are making off gullible customers. She said she went to another pharmacy to get the same pack of disposable nose mask for GHC 35.

"I went to a pharmacy in Accra to buy a box of disposable nose masks and was shocked to be told the price is 150 GHC for a box of 50 pieces. Clear liberties. So I told them, no thank you. I went to another pharmacy, and a box of 50 pieces of disposable nose masks is 35 GHC." She wrote.
