Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama McBrown has explained the major reason why she decided to get married.

Her reason was that she finally found someone that would love her not on merit.

She revealed that having children was never part of her reasons for getting married.

Mcbrown made known that she used to think that she couldn't bear children because at the early age of 20 everyone around her - sisters and friends - already had children and it just was not happening for her.

She then conceded that even after she got married, it was her husband's love and support that got her through her own mental barrier on infertility.

The actress has advised young women to marry the men that love them because it might be the only thing that keeps that marriage from failing when the issue of infertility surfaces.

“The overall purpose for me getting into the marriage was to find somebody to love me,” she said while speaking in an interview with Cookie Tee on Gh One’s LifeTales.

“When you are going through situations like that and you have somebody who loves you, it gives you the hope that it will happen for you one day”.

“When you have it, it’s a blessing. Every woman wants to. I have been there, I cried, I talked anyhow to people” she concluded.
