Ghanaian musician, King Ayisoba has declared himself as the best musician to ever come from Ghana.

According to him, no other musician - past or present - can be compared to him and the things that he has done. He cited his international exposure as a key factor that separates him from everyone else. 

The traditional artiste claimed that the foreigners admire him than more any Ghanaian musician. He emphasized the number of countries he has performed in, automatically alluding to the giant claim that he has singlehandedly put Ghana on the world map.

He said this when speaking with Mona Gucci on Kantanka TV. Stressing that he has critical acclaim due to his different style of music, the songwriter explained that musicians who do something different from the masses get recognition outside the country.

He mentioned the names of the artistes that he considers as his contemporaries, the likes of Wiyaala, Sherifa Gunu, Atongo who are being recognized outside the shores of the country because of their unique styles.

King Ayisoba then bemoaned the attitude of Ghanaians towards their own artiste, as Ghanaians don't treat their artists with the respect they afford other foreign artistes. He finally concluded that he wished the respect and recognition they’ve gotten in Europe and other places would be the same in their homeland.
