I am Ready To Remove King Teiko Tsuru II From Ga Stool Room To Refix Adama Latse II—Ga Abola Piam Tunma We Dzaasetse Drops Bombshell
Speaking in an interview with Soireenews.com, Nii Ayi Ana Kon Teh I stated that the Court of Appeal judgment's affirmation of King Boni Tackie Adama Latse II as legitimate Ga Mantse has compiled him to reverse his illegitimate act against Adama Latse II by preparing to place Adama Latse II back to the Ga Paramount Royal Stool Room.

The Dzaasetse of Ga Abola Piam Tunma We Royal Stool Dynasty family in the Greater Accra Region, Nii Ayi Ana Kon Teh I, has declared his readiness to help remove King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II and his elders from the Ga Paramount Royal Stool room to pave way for Nii Boni Tackie Adama Latse II, to re-occupy the Ga Stool room at the Ga mantse palace at Kaneshie, in Accra.
Speaking in an interview with Soireenews.com on MondayJune 16, 2025, Nii Ayi Ana Kon Teh I stated that the Court of Appeal affirmation of King Boni Tackie Adama Latse II as legitimate Ga Mantse has compelled him to reverse his illegitimate act against Adama Latse II and is therefore prepared to refix Adama Latse II back to the Ga Paramount Royal Stool room.
The renowned multifunctional journalist and former Metro Television staff who doubles as the caretaker chief for the Tunma We Royal Dynasty Family under the Stool head of family personality Nii Ayittey Osu III, reiterated that he plays leading roles with the tacit support of Police officers and the Military High Command to remove Adama Latse II from the Stool room and palace for King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II to occupy the two traditional offices in the Ga State.
He pointed out tthat he used those state security agencies those days under the directive by the owners of Ga Paramount Royal Stool and some top high-profile government appointees in the Ga state to remove Boni Tackie Adama Latse II and his kinsmen from the Ga Mantse Stool Room at Ga Mashie and Ga Mantse Palace at Kaneshie.
"I am saying that since the Court of Appeal judgment has affirmed Boni King Tackie Adama Latse II as legitimate Ga Mantse, l am ready to help Adama Latse II to remove King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II and his elders from the stool room and palace for the current recognised Mantse and his elders to reoccupy the stool room and palace to perform their necessary traditional and customary rites in the stool.
"There is pressure on me that the court has ordered that these things were done wrongfully so they should task me to go back there and put the Ga Paramount Royal Stool house in order for the necessary things to be done to bring lasting peace and unity to the Ga State.
"I am a legitimate occupant of the Ga Paramount Royal Stool Dynasty family as Dzasetse and that the other party too should task me to go back there to do the needful or right things based on the court directives or order," the kingmaker stated categorically.
He maintained that he is ever ready and fully prepared to remove King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II from the Ga Paramount Royal Stool Room for Adama Latse II to take over the Stool as per the Appeal court judgement.
When he was asked whether he has the men
to support him to execute that action, Nii Ayi Ana Kon Teh responded in the affirmative.
He indicated that "the way the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) government used me to remove Adama Latse II from the Stool room and palace, l am ready to remove King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II from the stool room if the current regime mandates me to do it." same style but in this case it is lawful because of the judgement from the Appeals Court.
"Because the top high-ranking personalities of the NPP in the Ga State ordered me to do it and l have done it for them.
"So the current regime should also just give me the mandate to go there to remove King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II and l am ready to implement that action immediately," he boldly told the journalist in an interview via telephone call on Monday June 16, 2025.
When asked Nii Ayi Ana Kon Teh I that who should give him the mandate, the Principal Kingmaker for GA Abola Piam Tunma We Royal Stool Dynasty family responded that "the elders by then who gave him the mandate to go and remove Adama Latse II from the Ga Mantse Stool Room were the former member of the Council of State, Mr Stanley Nii Adjiri Blankson and the late former Greater Accra Regional Minister, Honourable Ishmael Ashitey.
He revealed that the two former government appointees ordered him to remove Adama Latse II from the Stool room and place King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II and his elders, disclosing that he carried out that operation with the a senior police officer, now retired.
He added that "l have been assisted by six soldiers to carry previous operations successfully to remove Adama Latse II from the Ga Paramount Royal Stool Room in Ga Mashie to pave way for King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II to occupy the place till now."
He pointed out that; "this time round since the court has affirmed Boni King Tackie Adama Latse II as the legitimate Ga Mantse, l only need the six soldiers to go and remove King Tackie Teiko Tsuru and his installers, agents and privies from the two places being the Stool Room and the GA Traditional council.
He has given assurance that "I am ready to face that and carry that operation successfully without fear or favour, saying that this pending one backed by the judgement of the Appeal court would be carried out successfully as like the previous operation."which he led with only six soldiers.
The Ga traditional office holder tagged King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II as a staunch member of the NPP, saying his installation was absolutely supported by the leadership of the previous NPP government.
The reason, according to him, has given chances to him (Nii Ayi Ana Kon Teh I) and some state security personnel to forcibly remove Adama Latse II from the Stool Room for King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II to occupy without due process of law.
"I am telling all government security agencies that these were what l was tasked to do by the supreme support from some previous high ranking government appointees of the NPP government under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and that it is for the current government, led by President John Dramani Mahama should also give me that same mandate to reverse what l did against Adama Latse II wrongfully that is all,"
"I am also telling all government security agencies that these were the directives that l was tasked to do by some high ranking personalities of the previous NPP government under President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the current individuals who were in prominent positions in the Ga State should also give me the mandate to reverse what l have done against Adama Latse II, that is all," Nii Ayi Ana Kon Teh I stated without fear.
Nii Ayi Ana Kon Teh I called on the President His Excellency John Dramani Mahama to, immediately give him the mandate to remove King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II from the Stool Room as he did to King Boni Tackie Adama Latse II to set the records straight as the judgement from the Appeal court has directed.
Fear and panic gripped the installers of King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II and their followers after the news broke out that the Court of Appeal in Kumasi delivered judgment against him to order the leadership of National House of Chiefs (NHC) to expunge the name of chieftaincy title status of King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II from the National Register of chiefs as a Ga Mantse.
Since the court judgment on Thursday June 12, 2025, some of the high-ranking followers of King Tackie Teiko Tsuru ll were reported to have been telling the youth groups and elders in the Ga State that the Court of Appeal in Kumasi didn't have the judicial authority, or capacity , let alone the mandate to sit on that particular chieftaincy matter.
They were deceiving the General Public that the Judicial Committee of ths Greater Accra Regional House of Chiefs (JCGARHC) has a specific jurisdiction over matters affecting chieftaincy, but the critics insisted that these unscrupulous persons should note that not all disputes can be tried by the JCGARHC.
Current Court Judgment
In a 3-0 decision, the panel of Judges at the Court of Appeal upheld the 2021 ruling of the Kumasi High Court, which had recognized King Tackie Adama Latse II as the legitimate Paramount Chief of the Ga State.
The appellate court has now ordered the National House of Chiefs to re-enter the name of Boni King Tackie Adama Latse II into its register as Ga Mantse within 14 days ultimatum.
The court also imposed costs of GH₵30,000 on the National House of Chiefs and an additional GH₵20,000 on Nii Tetteh Ashong V, signaling a firm judicial stance on enforcing traditional rulings and affirming the authority of prior court decisions.
The dispute over the Ga Mantse title has dragged on for years, drawing national attention and creating rifts within the traditional leadership structure of the Ga State.
In 2021, the High Court in Kumasi ruled in favor of Boni King Tackie Adama Latse II, but the decision was appealed by parties such as the National House of Chiefs and Nii Tetteh Ashong II contesting his legitimacy.
The National House of Chiefs, which maintains the official register of traditional leaders, had withheld recognition despite the High Court’s decision—prompting renewed legal challenges.
