I Am Not In  Fear For NPP In Kpando! -Della Sowah Fires Back
Mrs Della Sowah

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Kpando Constituency in the Volta Region, Mrs. Della Adwoa Sowah, who declared her ambition for 2024 parliamentary elections, has stated that she is not in contest with anybody but herself.

She stressed that her vast achievements in the past years would enable her to clinch the ticket for the NDC, reaffirming that the Kpando parliamentary seat is safe for the NDC in the 2024 general elections.

"The Della Sowah changes in the Kpando constituency are lives. So I would like to assure the leadership, supporters and members of the NDC that, the members and supporters of the NPP were just making noise in the media by way of hiring journalists from media houses to write stories to lie about the development in Kpando constituency..

"President  Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo  promises  he has made to the chiefs and people of Kpando to bring development to the constituency are repetitions of the already promised he made to them and l can state on the authority that President Akufo-Addo never redeemed a single of this promise he made in the past five years to the people of Kpando Constituency. These of his promises were just a face serving exercise to create the impression that he care for the chiefs and people of Kpando Constituency.

"And that and l want to stress that due to my truck records and achievements in the various electoral areas within Kpando constituency, it is clear testament that the grounds in Kpando constituency are good for the NDC in coming 2024 general and the the parliamentary seat is completely safe for the NDC. In the name of almighty God we should retain the seat for the NDC with massive vote margins which would never happened in the history of the NDC," Mrs Sowah reaffirmed.

Mrs. Sowah stated this while responding to the publication attributed to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) that it would wrestle the Kpando Constituency seat from the NDC’s Della Sowah and make greater gains in the 2024 Presidential Elections, hence Mrs Sowah was in fear.

According to the incumbent MP of the area, she is not in fear of the NPP to wrestle the Kpando Constituency from her, stressing that the votes would be determined by the constituents.

She noted that she is not afraid of the NPP at all because she has contributed a lot to the development to her constituency which is improving the lives of the constituents.

She pointed bout that her social and infrastructural intervention achievements were in the expectations of the constituents hence they had prepared and every ready to vote massively for her to retain the seat for the NDC in the 2024 general elections.

Mrs Sowah stated that there an attempt by the current government NPP led by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to mislead innocent volterians, particularly the constituents in Kpando about bringing social and infrastructural intervention projects and programmes in Kpando.

According to her, this is shameful and disgust because she together with the previous National Democratic Congress NDC have done a lot to develop various electoral areas within the Kpando constituency and these projects and programmes were visible in their implementation communities.

Following this development, Mrs Sowah showcased massive unprecedented social and infrastructure intervention developmental projects and programmes so far initiated by the previous government under the leadership of her as the MP, which were improving lives of the constituents in the various electoral areas within the Kpando constituency.

These lives improving and charging projects and programmes being spearheaded by her as the MP and former President  John Dramani Mahama led NDC government through the Kpando Municipal Assembly are visible to see in their respective implementation communities.

The female MP disclosed that these sector-based projects are centered on education, energy and security, sanitation, water, health, roads and transports, social welfare as well as youths and sports among others.
