Eno Barony has laid down the white flag.

According to the rap goddess, music is a way out of poverty for her and not a do or die affair.

She maintained that the space is big enough for everyone to eat therefore she is not interested in petty fights that may lead to the untimely demise of her or any of her colleagues.

“I am not here to compete. I am here to eat. Coming out, we are all struggling to be seen and to get to the top. But now that it is a career. I am not here to fight. I am not a boxer. I am here t do music.”

Rap battles are necessary, and she will take part in them if need be even though the days when she majored in rap battles are far behind her, she noted.

Now, she has a full career ahead of her and there will be less time for competitive events like that since everyone already knows her lyrical prowess.

Eno Barony further outlined that she has changed from when she first started out, as she has now refined her craft.

The rapper said she decided to incorporate some softness into her hard bars and talk about matters of society likes love so that she can appeal to a wider audience.

She currently has four category nominations at the VGMA’S. She has nominations for Best Rapper, Best Hip-hop, Best Hiplife/Hip-hop Artiste of the Year, and Best Hiplife Song.

Her new track 'God Is A Woman' is out on all platforms and she is urging all her fans to stream it.
