Ghanaian artiste, Mzbel, has said that she and her father no longer speak on Whatsapp just for the fact that he's a member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

The musician revealed that she had to block her father on the famous app on his own request because he could not bear to see the NDC broadcast messages that she sends periodically.

According to the songstress, her father made the request to be blocked after she refused to stop sending the messages. She explained that her father had previously asked that she stop sending broadcast messages of the NDC’s achievements and plans for Ghana if they are voted to power on December 7 but she did not heed him.

“I’ve blocked my father because he asked me to block him so he does not receive the NDC messages I broadcast. I never knew my father was NPP until he asked me to stop sending him NDC messages. I told him I can only stop If I block him and he agreed that I block him,” she said Citi TV’s UpsideDown show.

Her father stated that he was not impressed by such messages and outlined his malice towards the information she broadcasted by warning his own daughter and cutting off communications with her.

Although Mzbel said she was shocked by her father's position on the matter, even going to the lengths of agreeing to be blocked, she said that she has been NDC from birth as she was born in James Town where everyone there is NDC.

She revealed that her love for the NDC is second to none and she would never put anything else ahead of it.
