I Am Legitimately Installed New Chief Of Ayikai Doblo, Ignore Any Other Claims - Nii Ayikai Doblo IV Hits Back Detractors

The newly-installed chief of Ayikai Doblo in the Ga West Municipality of the Greater Accra Region, Nii Ayikai Doblo IV who is known in his prevate life as Nii Amu Doodo aka Azooto TJ,has broken silence by reaffirming his position and responsibility of being the legitimate chief of Ayikai Doblo Division Stool in the Ga State.
Nii Ayikai Doblo I made this clarification in a sharp response to the current news items attributed to Daniel Armah Tetteh, Odartey Lamptey and their cohorts published on the Ghanaweb.com which was entitled; "Ga West police patrol Ayikai Doblo amidst growing tensions following Azonto's re-emergence."
In setting the records straight on the matter, Nii Ayikai Doblo IV has therefore described any other person or group of people making any other counterclaim as impersonators and fakes.
The Ayikai Doblo Mantse has again issued a caution to the general public to desist from dealing with Odartey Lamptey, Daniel Armah Tetteh and their cohorts who are parading around and making claim of being caretakers to the Ayikai Doblo community lands for their own interest.
Reacting to a recent publication by these self seeking individual elders of Ayikai Doblo in the persons of Osmanu Odartey Lamptey, Mustaphah Harlen Amponsah, Reuben Adjakwa, Mr David Tei Tagoe and Samuel Odartey Lamptey Mr. Solomon Teittey Tagoe, Ibrahim Darku Amponsah, Alhaji Ibrahim Tettey Okai, Okyeame Mantey, Rashid Attoh Tetteh, Musah Otto Amponsah and Usif Odartei Lampte, Nii Ayikai Doblo IV indicated that he assumed that position and responsibility by virtue of tradition and custom and under no circumstance that he will allow the status quo to change during his reign on the Ayikai Doblo Adumasa stool.
He clarified that the accusations by these detractors that the newly-installed chief is a land-guards kingpin was not true, saying that it was a calculated attempt to discredit Nii Ayikai Doblo IV.
The Ga traditional office holder also denied the allegations to the effect that Nii Ayikai Doblo IV's violent activities in pursuit of his illegitimate chieftaincy ambitions led to the assassination of Mary Nteshe and Sulley Amarkai Amartey in 2009 and 2013 respectively.
According to him, these are cooked and fabricated stories being made by these critics to tarnish his hard won reputation to score their points.
He called on general public, particularly the citizens and residents living in Ayikai Doblo to completely ignore the allegations made against him.
To support this position, the chief provided documented evidence from the Ayikai Doblo Archives to justify his his claim that he is indeed petson to ascend the throne, stressing that the above-mentioned personalities are not being recognized or have traditional locus to delve into the matters related to the chieftaincy affairs in the area.
He described Daniel Armah Tetteh as self-acclaimed head of Omanu Shia family in Ayikai Doblo, saying that Mr Tetteh is using that ‘fake’ traditional position to organize these aforementioned individuals to create series of unnecessary confusion and trouble in the Ayikai Doblo of the Ga State.
He stated categorically that Mr. Tetteh who is a mere member of Omanu Shia family in Ayikai Doblo is not neither his Omanu Shia family was part of the three royal families in the area.
He added that the arrogant Tetteh family--Omanu Shia is being recognized as the fetish shrine which has no lineage to the royal families of the Ayika Doblo Stool.
Nii Ayikai Doblo indicated that the kingmakers and elders led the Paramount Chief of Akumadjen Traditional Area, Nii Ayikai III and the Principal chief priest (Wolumo) of the Ga State, Nai Wolumo have legitimately nominated, elected and selected and installed him [Nii Ayikai Doblo IV] as the legitimate Ayikai Doblo Mantse and that he would be soon inducted into the Ga Traditional Council. Therefore the above publication is not only false, mischievous and malicious but also contemptuous,”the elders. stressed.
Describing portions of the publication which sought to accuse him of an alleged killing as mischief, he suggested to the accusers to identify the appropriate quarters for redress since he is not above the law and is ready to avail himself whenever he is called to do so.
Nii Ayikai Doblo IV urged journalists to be circumspect in their quest to publish a story. According to him, it was very worrying how some journalists take sides to publish stories without doing any checks from the other side, especially when there is an accusation.
