HORROR: Pregnant Woman  Dies In Tricycle Accident Over  Deplorable State Of Roads Assin  South Amidst Tension
Residents of Fawomanye, Manager, and Quansakrom all in the Assin South District of the Central Region, have expressed their grievances over the deplorable nature of the road networks in the area.

The communities which are mainly farmers with a population of over 800 produce cocoa, plantain, cocoyam, and other food crops.
They are also known for their huge gari processing activities.
According to the disgruntled farmers, all their farm produce is rotten away in the bush due to the difficulty of transporting them to the market.
What necessitated their call was a pregnant woman who slipped and fell in the bathhouse but died when the Aboboyaa that was carrying her to the hospital also had an accident due to the bad road network.

However, several appeals made to the MP, Hon Rev John Ntim, and the DCE to come to their aid have fallen on deaf ears.
In this light, they use coconut trunks to build bridges to connect nearby communities which is not safe for motorists. They are therefore calling the MP, Hon Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, and the DCE Hon. Felicia Amissah Ntrakwa to come to their aid. *CUE IN...1:42sec*

Meanwhile, the Chief of the area Nana Atua 'I' narrated the bad nature of roads also affects the academic performance of students since children in KG even walk about 3 kilometers to school in Assin Besease to access education.
He reiterated the road will determine the election coming in 2024 so the MP and the DCE should do something about it if they want to retain their seats and power.
